Cyprus offers a residence route for almost every situation: EU citizens register for a Yellow Slip, while non-EU nationals can use the Pink Slip (temporary residence), Category F / permanent residence by investment (€300,000 property), the Digital Nomad Visa, the EU Blue Card, the Start-up Visa, or family reunification. This tool matches your circumstances to the right permit.
How it works
- EU/EEA citizens have the right to live and work in Cyprus and simply register for the Yellow Slip (MEU1).
- Non-EU nationals choose a route by purpose: employment (work permit / EU Blue Card), business (Start-up Visa, company of foreign interests), remote work (Digital Nomad Visa), investment (permanent residence by €300,000 property) or family reunification.
- Permanent residence by investment requires €300,000 in new property plus €50,000+ of annual foreign income (with add-ons for spouse and children).
- The tool asks a few questions and recommends the most suitable permit; our immigration team then confirms eligibility.

What Our Clients Say
4.9(366+)“I have been using Polycarpos Philippou for both my temporary residency visa application and for my house purchase. Nikolas and Laura both worked very hard to achieve the former, which has just been successfully submitted, and the whole process was a pleasure. Equally, Ioannis and Anita are ensuring my house purchase is running smoothly. I have no hesitation whatsoever in unreservedly recommending Polycarpos Philippou & Associates.”
“I have been delighted with Philippou Law. They met all my legal needs related to buying a property in Cyprus and applying for a residence visa, including supporting me in negotiations with the builder, writing the contract, conveying the property, the KYC process with the bank, registering with the tax authorities and obtaining a VAT reduction certificate. My key contact has been Ioannis Pitsillos, who has been truly outstanding.”
