This policy explains how we prepare public legal and tax information. It applies to articles, guides, service pages and calculators; it does not turn general website content into advice for an individual case.
Research and publication standards
- Material legal, tax, fee and procedural claims are checked against current primary sources such as legislation, EU instruments and competent government authorities.
- Dates, jurisdiction, eligibility conditions, exceptions and uncertainty are stated where they affect the answer.
- Commercial service pages and informational articles have distinct search intent and link to each other where useful.
- Sources and the content update date are shown where relevant; links are rechecked during material updates.
Content ownership and professional review
A named content owner identifies responsibility for maintaining a practice area. A content-owner label is not a claim that every sentence has received an independent legal opinion. Material legal changes are escalated for qualified professional review before publication.
Translations
Localized pages must preserve the legal meaning, limitations, dates and source context of the verified source copy. A machine translation is not treated as native legal validation. If reliable localized wording is unavailable, we correct or withhold that claim rather than invent it.
Corrections and updates
We correct confirmed material errors promptly and update the displayed review date when the substance changes. A correction must not silently create a broader guarantee, eligibility claim or tax outcome than the source supports. Superseded URLs are redirected only to a genuinely equivalent destination.
Calculators and general information
Calculators are educational estimates based on stated inputs and assumptions. They do not cover every exemption, treaty, personal fact or authority interpretation. Users should obtain advice on their own facts before acting.
